Community Planting
Thankfully, our summer planting happens only twice a year, but we really need your help, especially this year. (And if you can't help, just come for lunch!) Hopefully, there's something somewhere for everyone.
Daytime mornings or afternoons – this week From Monday-Thursday, some of us will be in the High Street, or at Scotmid/Health Centre to take out the pansies and primroses. You can also rescue any pansies or primroses you want to take away for your garden. And feel free to remove a couple of inches of soil out the boxes so that we can top them up with fresh compost. (Leave in the centre evergreen plant.)
Planting Day – Sunday, 5 June @ 9am.We had lots of helpers to help us sort the plants into sets. This takes far longer than the actual planting now, so we spend a good 2 hours for this.
